K L Rahul On Ruthuraj Gaikwad

IND vs SA 3rd ODI: Team India again lost the toss in the third ODI against South Africa. South Africa captain Aiden Markrum won the toss and chose to bowl.

It is noteworthy that Team India lost the toss in three consecutive matches in this series.

  1. As expected, the young player and RCB star Rajat Patidar got a chance in the last match.
  2. Rajat Patidar made his debut in international cricket with this match.
  3. Team India interim captain KL Rahul said that Ruthuraj Gaikwad had to be sidelined due to an injury to his finger.
  4. Rahul said that senior spinner Kuldeep Yadav has been rested, Washington Sundar has been included in the final team.
'We have made two changes in the final team for this match. Rajat Patidar is making his debut in international cricket with this match. Rajat Patidar replaced Ruthuraj Gaikwad with a finger injury. While Kuldeep Yadav was rested, Washington Sundar joined the team.
There is no problem in batting first. The wicket is likely to be the same in both innings. We were in a good position in the last match and we faltered at the end. Losing 5 wickets within 40 runs hurt our chances of victory. We hope to get a good start today. This is another opportunity for the boys. It was better than the pitch in the last two matches. We expect to score big in this match, said KL Rahul.
Aiden Markrum, who won the toss, said that they chose to bowl to know their ability in chasing. 'We are entering the ring without any changes. Our plan is to restrict India to as low a score as possible. This field is huge. Running is more important than hitting boundaries. Markram said.

Final Teams:

India:
Sanju Samson, Sai Sudarshan, Rajat Patidar, Tilak Verma, KL Rahul, Rinku Singh, Washington Sundar, Akshar Patel, Arshdeep Singh, Avesh Khan, Mukesh Kumar.

South Africa:
Reeza Hendricks, Tony De Jorji, Rasi van der Dussen, Aiden Markrum, Heinrich Klaasen (keeper), David Miller, Vian Mulder, Keshav Maharaj, Nandre Burger, Lizard Williams, Buran Hendricks.
